A winter weekend in Kintail

Meg and I spent a lovely weekend in Kintail doing a couple of cracking mountain routes in December. Peter was with us on the ridges and his wife Rosemarie in the hotel afterwards! The weather was perfect for the whole weekend, so we've got some great photos to see in this album.

Kilimanjaro

I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in February 2007. It was a great experience and a fantastic challenge and I finally made it to the top. Dad and I had gone on the two-week trip with George Hibbert and we joined a group of 12 'clients' with many guides and porters, who carried the vast majority of our gear up to each camp as we first tackled the 4,566m Mount Meru.
